Rat Terrier

Well we now have a new member of our family. An 8 week old Rat Terrier. He had really nice markings but was the runt of the litter and a bit timmid. On the way home he got motion sickness and was terrified! Picture below. HE went to the corner of his box and tried to hide. His mother was a standard but the father was a toy rat T, and he definitley takes after pop. He was terrified when the family met him and spent most of the night curling and laying in our laps. We pulled the smaller crate out and since he had been in a crate before he went straight in and crashed. He had a big day.
We are thinking about calling him Sarge (my grandparents called thier dog Sarge so there is a little sentimental value)
Other names in the running. Rocket, Zues, Thor

A Cry in the Dark

I just watched "A Cry in the Dark" AKA "Evil Angels" based on a true story and was Amazed at how much public opionion seemed to play into the verdict. Also I wondered if some of the outrage that was leveled at Lindy and Michael Chamberlain was because of their religious beliefs? I could not even imagine what they went through.

In one Scene the Bible book and verse read from was James 1:2-5. The version below is NASB, but I'm not sure what version was in the movie

Jam 1:2
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
Jam 1:3
knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
Jam 1:4
And let endurance have {its} perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Jam 1:5
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to....

A couple of good quotes from the movie:

"A lie goes 'round the world while the truth's still putting its boots on."
"I don't think a lot of people realise how important innocence is to innocent people."
